What the 1D engine cannot see. One model, every structure SWMM5 draws as a dot or a coefficient: the flow inside a junction or storage node reduced to the [LOSSES] line it can read; the regime switch inside an orifice or weir run both ways — coefficient to flow, results to implied coefficient; and the residence-time distribution of a vault reduced to the one factor a [TREATMENT] expression can carry. Each module proves its number through the engine.
